Son Seokhee (Korean name; 손석희) is recognized in South Korea as a premier broadcast announcer and interviewer. He is now a radio announcer and a professor at Sungshin Women's University.
Son Seokhee was born in 1956. He was born in Seoul, South Korea, studied Korean Literature and graduated from Kookmin University in 1982. Son went to the United States in 1997 to enroll in the graduate school of the University of Minnesota, majoring in Journalism. After getting his master's degree, he returned to MBC as a vice chairman of department of announcer. He is well known for his career as an MBC announcer. He had preserved his position as a host of 100 Minutes Discussion for 12 years, which is one of the most popular TV forum programs.
